AFCA Training Section

Purpose of the Section: Assess the different training needs of all fire departments in the state of Arizona.  Another purpose is to pinpoint possible regional training centers across the state. The third purpose is to provide training media access to smaller departments in the state.

Established Section Goals:

1. Establish a Training library with materials available to all fire departments
2. Establish an Instructor bank of qualified personnel
3. Develop a means to share training facilities
4. Work on community college involvement and support in fire training
5. Become active and introduce statewide training initiatives to the state legislature
6. Develop regional training facilities
7. Establish ways to assist smaller departments in acquiring grants
