The Arizona Fire Chiefs Association has partnered with the 100 Club of Arizona to support the Arizona Line-Of Duty Death Response Team.(L.A.S.T.) in association with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation; L.A.S.T stands for Local Assistance State Team. The AZ L.A.S.T.'s primary objective is to provide assistance and comfort to the family and department after a line-of-duty death, assist the surviving family in filing for the DOJ Public Safety Officer Benefits, and to act as the initial contact/agent for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The expertise and resources provided by the 100 Club of Arizona are essential in providing this service. More-AZLAST.pdf pdf Document

The 100 Club of Arizona is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to public safety officers and firefighters when they are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. It was started in 1968, and has given more than 3.3 million dollars in financial support to Arizona’s men and women who stand behind the badge. For more information, log on to www.100club.org or email info@100club.org.

"There are many different stories that describe what brings members, contributors, and supporters to the 100 Club of Arizona. One thing that is consistent among them is that they share a common commitment to be of service to our firefighters, law enforcement officers, and corrections officers who give so much of themselves for the safety of the people in Arizona…these public safety professionals who sometimes experience serious injuries or give their lives in order to protect others who they usually don’t even know. The fact that the 100 Club is there for them and their loved-ones is always reassuring and enormously helpful. It’s when the need is greatest that the core mission of the 100 Club is the most meaningful. Whether helping to purchase safety equipment through stipends, awarding scholarships, providing professional advisory services, giving direct financial support to families, or delivering other services, the needs of our public safety personnel and those who love them the most are at the center of the 100 Club’s efforts."

Chief Dennis Compton, President, 100 Club of Arizona
