Welcome to the Arizona Fire Service Administrative Professionals Section

Who We Are

Our membership is comprised of fire service administrative personnel from the state of Arizona.

Our members are from the following Arizona counties: Apache, Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai, and Yuma.

Our Mission

The Arizona Fire Service Administrative Professionals Section serves all administrative fire professionals and chief fire officers by providing leadership through involvement; professional development through networking, education and information distribution, and a forum to improve the services provided by administrative professionals of the Arizona Fire Service.

Our History

In the summer of 2006, the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association approved and welcomed a new section for Administrative Fire Professionals. This section was formed to increase the proficiency of all Fire Service administrative support personnel by establishing a network to share information through various channels of communication in order to maintain and enhance our professionalism. Now, all non-uniformed administrative personnel can be a part of a networking group that expands beyond their department.

Section Objectives

• To create a network in which to share information through various means in order to maintain and enhance our professionalism.
• To identify, develop and maintain educational programs that meet the needs of the membership.
• To build and maintain resources for Administrative Fire Professionals focusing on relevant job functions.
• To create an administrative manual that would serve as a resource for administrative job function
