On behalf of the Arizona Fire Services Institute (a consortium of interested fire service groups representing labor, fire chiefs, fire districts, volunteer and large fire departments): The AFSI has adopted a resolution to transition the state training and certification programs previously operated by the Arizona Department of Fire Building and Life Safety to the AFSI on an interim basis until the State can re-fund the Department’s functions. The AFSI will work with member organizations to continue the fire service certification programs in the State of Arizona. Click here  to read the AFSI Resolution. |
