In October, 2008, The AFCA entered into a Strategic Partnership with 1-800-BOARDUP. As a result of this partnership, 1-800-BOARDUP will become the Signature Sponsor for the AFCA's Annual Leadership Conference for the next five (5) years. The AFCA supports the efforts of 1-800-BOARDUP in their commitment to community and the fire service.

As part of this commitment, the AFCA will be working with 1-800-BOARDUP to host several activities throughout the year to help raise donations for various fire service-related charities. Some of the activities being planned include golf tournaments, a casino night, and the Annual Emergency Services 5k Fitness Challenge. Through Corporate Sponsorships and Fire Service participation, the proceeds from these events will go toward ASU Fire Service Institute Scholarships, The Arizona Burn Foundation, The Last Alarm Foundation, The 100 Club and AZLAST.

1-800-BOARDUP is also an IAFC Corporate Partner.
