Attention Vendors: We are now set up for online registration to take place.
Please follow the link below to start your registration for the 2013 Desert Southwest Fire and EMS Expo to be held on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013. We will again be in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale Arizona. This will be held in conjuntion with the Desert Southwest Fire and EMS Leadership Conference which runs from Tuesday, July 23rd to Friday, July 26th.
Golf cart shuttles will again be available to transfer attendees back and forth to the Stadium from the Host Hotel and all short meetings to be held on this day will be held at the Stadium. Last year, we counted approximately 1,300 attendees. There is no charge for the Expo and all fire service personnel are invited to attend.
If you have already sent in a paper registration, then you should still register and provide the names of the attendees that will be helping you in your booth. Once you have that completed, then you may indicate that you are paying with a Purchase Order if you have already paid. If not, then please provide your payment method. Large booths already have the names on them that are reserved so far (see layout above).

2013 Wildland Mobilization Plan
We are very pleased to provide you with the 2013 Arizona Wildland Equipment Mobilization Plan and the 2013 Billing Procedures Handbook (links below), which will provide the State Forester with a new system of deploying local firefighting resources to large wildland fire incidents both in-state and out-of-state. We believe this plan will greatly increase the State’s wildland response efficiencies to those extended attack fires where larger numbers of resources are often needed, while assuring adequate local reserve resources are maintained. Ultimately we believe this plan translates to reduced fire threat and damages to our communities and natural resources.

ASU CPM Program and Management and Leadership Institute
As a partner in fire service education with the Bob Ramsey Executive Education program through Arizona State University, AFCA is pleased to provide links to two upcoming programs that would be extremely valuable to senior fire service leaders – the Certified Public Manager program and the Management & Leadership Institute. The links below will provide additional information about the programs and how to register. Please pass the information along to others in your organization whom you feel could benefit from attending either or both of the programs and to others in your area who may not have access to it.
